Astragalus is one of the elite Qi tonics and adaptogenic, immunomodulatory herbs in the Chinese and Taoist herbal systems. With thousands of years of historical use, it is also one of the most popular herbs for daily consumption amongst Taoists. Tremella is most famous as the beauty mushroom for improving moisture and elasticity of the skin. It has been researched for a wide variety of applications including skin hydration, stimulation of endothelial cells, anti-inflammatory effects, stimulation of superoxide dismutase (SOD), radiation protection, cardiovascular protection and neuroprotective effects.
LION'S MANE MUSHROOM
Lion's Mane Mushroom has been studied for a long list of functions including neuroprotection, cognitive performance, ulcer protection, cardiovascular support and management of blood sugar levels. The research on neuroprotective applications is some of the most fascinating, showing that it can increase the myelin sheath around the axons of nerves.
Studies have found that Cordyceps may increase ATP production, improve physical fitness performance, and improve VO2 max (measure of exercise capacity). It can also support healthy hormones and blood sugar levels. It is highly regarded for it's ability to promote the innate and adaptive immune systems.
