La Cuisine restaurant’s Michelin one-star breakfast is all about Parisian glamour, starting with the whimsical Philippe Starck­–designed interior, which highlights a fresco by French artist Stéphane Calais on the ceiling. Pierre Hermé, an artist from the dessert world, is behind all cakes and pastries; La Cuisine serves various iterations of his beloved macaron-based Ispahan confection using everything from yogurt to croissants to granola. An on-site tonic and juice bar was developed in collaboration with health-food specialist Sage Dammers, and guests can fortify their drinks with natural additions like raw cocoa and pearl powder, both of which are known for their cleansing properties.
