FIRST, SOME FUN HISTORY
Gynostemma is a relatively new kid on the block in comparison to the centuries of history some adaptogens can easily claim.
It wasn’t widely known, even in China, until the early 1970s! At that time Japanese researchers took a closer look at the incredible longevity achieved by residents of a region in Southern China.
What did they find? Gynostemma tea was a traditional drink and has been consumed on a daily basis for centuries.
GYNOSTEMMA IS A RECORD HOLDER!
The dual-directional nature of adaptogens is generally attributed to the intriguing compounds called saponins.
While the most famous Adaptogenic herb in the world, Ginseng, contains on average 36 saponins, it turns out that Gynostemma is boasting about 100 different saponins.
Gynostemma holds the record to this day for the broadest range of saponins of any known plant in the world.
The saponin similarities between Ginseng and Gynostemma earned this superherb nicknames such as “7-Leaf Ginseng,” “Southern Ginseng,” and “Ginseng at a tea price,” reflecting how affordable it was compared to ginseng. However, the people who have been drinking it for hundreds, if not thousands of years still call it “The Magical Grass.”
HOW WILL GYNOSTEMMA HELP YOU?
Gynostemma’s incredible saponin profile gives it the ability to regulate a myriad of bodily functions, covering everything from energy, to natural defenses, to weight and cholesterol.
For example, when someone is tired or overly anxious, Gynostemma will help restore a state of peaceful vigor, without being stimulating or sedative. Both athletes and those wanting to lose weight will equally appreciate that Gynostemma simultaneously increases the body’s ability to burn fat and build lean muscle.
Furthermore, studies in Japan and China have shown Gynostemma having an 94.8% effective rate of lowering “bad” cholesterol while increasing “good” cholesterol. In various countries it has been used to control cholesterol, avoid obesity and fatty liver.
IT IS SO EASY TO DRINK IT!
It is easy to consume as well. You can add it to hot water and it makes a delicious tea. You can blend it into almost any hot or cold beverage or smoothie for a powerful dose of adaptability.

QUALITY
WELL WORTH IT, superior quality.

Hands down BEST company and products
Not only do I trust the source of all the products Addictive Wellness offers, but Sage is insanely knowledgeable and love that I can visit their instagram page to throughly learn about everything on the adaptogens and supplements they offer. He is so honest about not only the quality but the taste and benefits and does not “over sell” but rather just informs. I would encourage everyone to support this company and enjoy their products!

Gynostemma
I have been taking different kinds of ginseng for a number of years. This is the first time I have ever taken gynostemma and felt it was a nice change from the ginseng , giving me similar energy enhancement especially in my thought processes.

Longevity
I do not like the taste, but have used it in Cho wa. The tastes are very similar, so it is not bad that way. I tried stirring it in a protein shake, but it did not dissolve. Next I will try it in hot black tea. But, it is worth all this to get healthy.

Fabulous!!
I don't know how Sage and Anna Blanca did it again with a great product, but they did! The flavor is smooth and not pungent or bitter like I thought it would. I feel great after drinking it and notice a calm energy and focus afterwards. This will now be in my subscription rotation :)
