  • Product Description

Most Lion’s Mane on the market is mycelium grown on grain, so a lot of what’s in the bag is leftover grain starch with a thin layer of mushroom grown on top of it. Ours grows the way Lion’s Mane actually lives in the wild: as the fruiting body, on oak hardwood, in a remote Di Tao region of China. After harvest it’s dual-extracted in hot water and alcohol, then concentrated to a 10:1 extract, so the compounds that dissolve in each solvent make it into the bag, not just the ones that are convenient to pull.

What’s in the bag is one ingredient: dual-extracted Lion’s Mane fruiting body (Hericium erinaceus). No mycelium-on-grain, no maltodextrin, no flow agents, nothing added to bulk it out. It’s third-party tested in the U.S. for heavy metals, which is the testing we do and the testing we’ll stand behind. Grown on oak, extracted twice, concentrated to 10:1. That’s the care that went into it. What people tend to notice is simpler: it disappears into coffee, and it’s a habit they actually keep.

Lion’s Mane is the mushroom researchers keep returning to for the brain and the gut. The fruiting body carries hericenones and a rich fraction of polysaccharides. Dual extraction gathers both the water-soluble and alcohol-soluble pieces and dries them into a fine powder that stirs easily. Half a teaspoon in coffee or tea is the usual daily amount. The flavor’s mild and a little earthy, and it disappears into a drink instead of taking it over.

Available in 50 gram and 100 gram bags. A half-teaspoon serving is about 1.5 g, so the 50 gram bag is roughly a month if you’re taking it once a day.

  • How to Use

Start with ½ teaspoon once a day. Most people stir it into morning coffee, tea, or hot water. It also blends easily into smoothies and warm milk. You can take it once or twice daily. A frother or a short blend mixes it more smoothly than a spoon.

Half a teaspoon is the serving because this is already a 10:1 extract. If you’re new to it, stay there for a couple of weeks before you add a second serving.

Please don’t use this if you’re allergic to mushrooms, pregnant, or breastfeeding. If you have a health condition or take medication, check with your practitioner first. Keep out of reach of children.

Dual-Extracted

This is Lion's Mane as It Should Be

Most Lion’s Mane never really becomes a mushroom. It stays mycelium on grain, gets milled into a bag, and hopes you won’t look too closely. Ours grows up the way Lion’s Mane does in the world: as the fruiting body, on oak, in a quiet Di Tao pocket of China. Then it’s extracted in both water and alcohol and concentrated to 10:1, so half a teaspoon in your morning coffee is a real serving, not a gesture. It disappears into the cup. What you’re left with is the mushroom, and a little more clarity in the day.

Lion's Mane Coffee

Stir It Into Your Coffee

This is the one that earns a place next to the kettle. Make your coffee or tea the way you always do. Then stir in ½ teaspoon as the last step. The powder’s fine enough that a frother, or even a decent stir, takes it away, and the flavor’s mild and a little earthy, so the cup still tastes like your cup.

You don’t need a new ritual. Make the drink. Stir this in. That’s the whole method.

Or Hide It in Breakfast

Coffee’s the usual home for it. A smoothie works just as well. Half a teaspoon into the blender with whatever you already use in the morning: milk, banana, berries. It won’t take the drink over or ask you to build a recipe around it.

The useful part is the part you can repeat. One small serving, in something you were going to have anyway. Give it a couple of weeks at that pace before you decide you want a second spoonful.

If you'd like to experience it in a pure and direct form, it's actually quite tasty just stirred into hot water.

Lion's mane on oak

Grown on Oak

Lion’s Mane is a tree mushroom. It wants wood, not a bag of grain. Ours is grown on oak in a remote Di Tao region of China, the kind of place this mushroom’s actually happy. That takes more care than grain does. It’s also why the bag in your kitchen is mushroom, not leftover starch.

Lion's mane in the wild

The Fruiting Body

If you’ve ever seen Lion’s Mane in person, those white cascading spines are the fruiting body. That’s the mushroom, and that’s what we extract. Mycelium on grain is a different material, and it often brings the grain along. Nothing like that is in this bag. No fillers, nothing added to make the weight look more impressive.

Alcohol and hot water extracts

Dual-extracted 10:1

Hot water takes the polysaccharides. Alcohol takes the compounds water can’t dissolve, including the hericenones Lion’s Mane is known for. We use both, then concentrate the extract to 10:1: ten pounds of oak-grown fruiting body for every pound of powder. One solvent would’ve been simpler. It also would’ve left a lot of the mushroom behind.

Lion's Mane dual extract powder

Tested, then packed

When the extract’s finished it’s third-party tested in the U.S. for heavy metals and packed as a fine powder that stirs into a cup without a fight. One ingredient: Lion’s Mane fruiting body, dual-extracted. That’s the whole list, and we like it that way.

FAQ

  • What is Lion's Mane Mushroom, and how does it benefit me?

Lion’s Mane is a tree mushroom people take for clearer thinking, steadier focus, and the feeling that their head is a little more like itself. It’s also used for the gut and for stress. It isn’t caffeine, and it isn’t a jolt. It’s a daily extract you stir into something you were already going to drink.

  • What makes your Lion's Mane Mushroom extract different?

It’s the fruiting body, grown on oak, not mycelium grown on grain. Then it’s dual-extracted: hot water for the polysaccharides, alcohol for the compounds water can’t dissolve, including hericenones. After that, the liquids are evaporated off and what’s left is concentrated to 10:1. No grain, no fillers, and it’s third-party tested in the U.S. for heavy metals.

  • How do I use the Lion's Mane Mushroom Dual Extract Powder?

Make your coffee, tea, hot water, or smoothie the way you always do. Then stir in ½ teaspoon as the last step. Once a day is the usual start. You can take it once or twice daily. A frother or a short blend mixes it more smoothly than a spoon.

  • What is the difference between fruiting body and mycelium in mushroom extracts?

The fruiting body is the mushroom: those white cascading spines you’d recognize on a log. That’s what we extract. Mycelium is the root-like network that runs through whatever it’s grown on. When that’s grain, a lot of the finished powder is still grain, and the mushroom doesn’t make the same range of compounds it does on wood. Ours is fruiting body only, grown on oak.

  • How should I store Lion's Mane Mushroom powder?

Cool, dry, and out of direct sun, bag closed so moisture stays out. No refrigerator needed.

  • Is your Lion's Mane Mushroom extract suitable for vegans and vegetarians?

Yes. It’s one ingredient, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

  • How long will it take to notice the benefits of Lion's Mane Mushroom?

It varies. A lot of people notice something in their focus or mental clarity within a few days to a couple of weeks if they’re taking it daily. The more useful shift is the one that comes from keeping it up, not from a single cup.
